In 2 Corinthians chapter 11 we learn that God gives us power to stand up for the gospel. Paul cared about the believers in Corinth, and he wanted them to be faithful to Jesus and remember the gospel. Paul may not have been an eloquent speaker like those who preached lies, but he refused to back down.

God changes us when we trust in Jesus. He adopts us into His family and makes us new! Jesus calls us to turn away from our sinful ways (put off) and live in a way that honors Him (put on!). Through His power, we can change and live differently. Our lives become part of our testimony of how Jesus has changed us from the inside out.
