The Tuesday Women's Bible Study has just finished our study on the Psalms, and one of the constant themes was that no matter what the circumstances (joyful, heartbroken, frightened, confused, victorious or persecuted), the Psalmists always turned their eyes to God and praised Him for His faithfulness. We have seen many similarities to the struggles of our present world and our response should be the same. To continue this theme and also prepare for the Christmas season, we are going to be looking at some of the prophecies pointing to the first advent of our Christ and how God was faithful to fulfill them. During the holidays everyone talks of finding joy, peace, comfort and hope; but we know these only come from knowing and trusting our Heavenly Father who always keeps His promises. Please join us in December as we remember how God kept His promise to send the Messiah and share testimonies of ways He is still faithfully providing all we need. We want this to be a time of worship and great encouragement. And we hope you will join us in January when we will begin our study of Revelation, seeing how we can cling to His sure Word in the present, for the future and the second advent of our Lord Jesus Christ.
